Mamaw Festival: Mountain of Appalachia Music, Arts, & Wellness Festival

July 27 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

MAMAW Fest: Mountains of Appalachian Music Arts and Wellness Festival will take place beginning at 6:00pm on July 27th on the streets of downtown Harlan. A celebration of community care, the day will feature local artists, vendors, musicians, and healthcare providers and culminate in an evening performance of Angels Unaware, the 10th theater production of local arts collective Higher Ground—written, performed, and created by local community members.

Partnering with One Nation/One Project, the Cloverfork Clinic, and the Harlan County Fiscal Court, Higher Ground is also working to integrate the arts into rural healthcare delivery through various projects and programming efforts.
