Event Overview: Discover the art and joy of fly fishing at Pine Mountain Settlement School. Join us for an immersive weekend where you’ll learn the essentials of fly fishing from experienced instructors in the serene and picturesque setting of Pine Mountain.
Who Should Attend: This event is perfect for beginners who have always wanted to learn fly fishing. No prior experience is necessary – just bring your enthusiasm and readiness to learn.
Event Highlights:
- Comprehensive Instruction: Learn how to choose and use fly fishing equipment, select flies, tie knots, read a stream, cast, and land a fish.
- Hands-On Experience: Participate in on-stream instruction sessions to apply what you’ve learned in a real fishing environment.
- Complimentary Gear: Each participant will receive a complimentary fly box with five flies. Loaner rods and reels are available for use.
- Complete Package: The event includes 2 nights of lodging and meals from Friday supper through Sunday lunch.

- Arrival: Friday, June 21, for a supper session.
