Built more than 60 years ago on the rolling hills and valleys of Cumberland, the Sleepy Hollow Golf Course has beenprovided golfing enthusiasts the opportunity to play on one of the most unique nine-hole courses in the region. In addition to attracting hundreds of local golfers, visitors from outside the area often play a round of golf at Sleepy Hollow during their vacation or business trips to Harlan County.
Plans are underway to expand the facility to a professional level 18-hole golf course.

Annual Tournaments
Southeast Education Foundation, Inc. Scholarship Golf Classic -
This annual tournament, held in May, provides support for the Student Scholarship Fund at Southeast Community College. Over the years, the tournament has raised thousands of dollars to assist needy and deserving students in Harlan, Bell and Letcher counties.
Sleepy Hollow Open Invitational Tournament - During this three-day Labor Day Weekend event, golfers from throughout the region compete for valuable prizes and the coveted winner's title. Registration begins each year in July.
